Plans after graduating/goals/hopes/dreams: attending
graduate school of education, and possibly becoming a counselor
or administrator in an institution of higher learning.
Who inspires you & why?: Children... becuase
it's all for them.
One piece of advice (about college, Berkeley, pass, life
in general): Realize your privilieges and the opportunities
that come your way. Make the most of your time in school and find
something to be passionate about!
PASS
Tell us about your position & why it's important:
Finance Coordinator. I manage all the financial business of PASS
which includes keeping track of 14 budgets, reimbursements and
working with different departments on campus. It's important because
the real world doesn't take monopoly money.
What are some of your goals for this year?: To
stay on top of my schoolwork and graduate school applications.
And of course, to enjoy Senior Year to the fullest!
First exposure to pass: Pilipino American Student
Orientation during welcome week!
Why & how did you decide to get involved?:
I became an intern and volunteer because the people in the organization
are cool and are just as passionate about the issues affecting
Pilipino American students today.
Why is pass' work important?: We're here to give
back to our community, to help other students get into and succeed
in higher education.
Where do you see pass in 10 years?: Recruiting
and retaining pilipinos on a much larger scale.
Anything else we should know? Shout-outs?: I
work hard, but i'm a pretty laid back person too. Let's hang out!
