PASS
Tell us about your position & why it’s important:
Serious change needs to happen on this campus in order to make
it a more inclusive, accessible, and welcoming for students of
color. I work hard with my staff to educate the students here
on the problems affecting the Pilipino/American and bridges communities
and understand how important it is to be civically engaged, whether
on or off campus. In addition to education, I also work on campaigns
pertinent to PASS/bridges and hope all of you reading this will
join me in shaking up this school and making real positive social
change for all of us to benefit from.
What are some of your goals for this year?: Create
solid relationships with my complements in the other RRCs and
the Pilipino organizations, Improve the Pilipino Community De-cal,
Begin building a base of politically educated, critically conscious
and action-oriented community members
First exposure to PASS: Senior Weekend 2005
