One piece of advice (about college, Berkeley, PASS, life

-Gandhi
PASS
Why & how did you decide to get involved? Sophomore
year after an inspiring talk with a PASS staff member about their
motivations and our similarities…that lovely lady is my
inspiration
Why is PASS’ work important? When students
care about other students the world is just that much more of
a better place. It is all about loving your neighbor and loving
yourself
Where do you see PASS in 10 years? In ten years
I see pass as an organization that inspires K-12 students to aim
for higher education and promotes love for knowledge and learning
and love for community and self. I see pass as an organization
whose community is the world. Pass will be a network well known
throughout the elementary, middle, and high schools and college
campuses throughout California. I see PASS as a thriving and powerful
organization that employs not only students, but Berkeley faculty
coordinators and facilitators. Receptions will be held throughout
California for admitted students who may otherwise have no way
to know anything about UC Berkeley. This way students will be
able to make a more informed decision about which college they
would like to attend. There will be a Transfer Weekend Extravaganza
where transfer students will spend immersed in Berkeley getting
to know the campus, the students, and so much more. Pass will
be known as an organization that caters to and promote higher
education to all students, regardless of ethnicity, socio-economic
background, or past experiences.
Anything else we should know? Shout-outs?

I love earrings and I love my sunglasses so don’t be surprised
if you see me and that’s all you can see.
I did not like the Berkeley area AT ALL when I first moved here,
but I am beginning to love it, probably because I know my way
through the bay on public transportation.
I am always looking for a good conversation so hit me up and we’ll
do lunch!
